Raised Beds Ready

Two of my new vegetable garden beds are up and filled. Ready for Winter crops. I used 2″ by 8″ ruff cut cedar hoping that the boards won’t need to be replaced for many years.

I’m adding cold frame tops to both made out of PVC pipe and 6mil greenhouse plastic. Should be finished with those today or tomorrow. I’m building these on a hinged frame and can be removed and stored.

Our yard is mostly mowed lawn. Hoping to add additional beds over the next 2 years that will convert much of this to vegetables. Using these two to get started.
