Completing projects
I’ve been working on two projects over the past month. One is essentially completed; just waiting on the client to send two images they want to use as replacements for two others and then final approval and orientation. They other is well on its way, but held up waiting for content from the client.
Content is tricky, especially when client’s existing website has none. This particular client’s website is one of the old, 90’s style sites—one-page, everything centered, no structure, link-list. There’s no content to import to the new website, so the client needs to supply much of it, or trust me to do a good job. I’ve no problem writing content, but prefer that the client supplies it. They understand the mission of their organization better than I will, so if they are able to write content it will be structured to better suit their needs.
This second project has been held up much longer than I am comfortable with. I will give them another week, after that, I’ll write content so that I can get the project completed.
